Holdfast provides game platform for CCPL

Game is the fastest growing business in Internet industry. However, Shanghai, as a very important IT highland in China, is not strong in game developing and game platform, until recently the outcome of Holdfast's game platform at China Career Player's League (CCPL).
The platform is jointly developed by Holdfast and Shanghai Online Game Center, and will undertake professional game contests on War Craft, Counter Strike, Star Craft and other popular games. Holdfast's platform also contains info regarding contests news, highlighted events and tactics advices, and is becoming a leader in PC-game contesters of the country.
Up to date, Holdfast's platform is the only online game platform that supports TCP/IP. With daily increasing contents of the games and more strict requirements on networking, more and more games, e.g. the popular Diablo II and War Craft III from Blizzard Co., adopt TCP/IP protocol for its advances in fewer limitation and lower traffic. The traditional game platforms which only support IPX protocol obviously cannot run those new games. Fortunately, Holdfast not only makes breakthrough of the protocols, but also enable its platform to fulfill the accurate emulation from Internet to LAN, thus a player can easily access other players by logging on to the platform at home, without going to a Net-caf¨¦ or calling his friends, neither knowing other's IP address to make the connection. The platform can handle over 10,000 online players at the same time and offer end-to-end connections which makes the Internet a big LAN to enable the players enjoy their games.
The platform also has functions such as online chatting, friends listing and etc. for players in the same chamber to carry real-time communication.
