Holdfast's Platform carries First W3C for CCPL

China Career Players League (CCPL) will organize the first War Craft III Contest (W3C) over Holdfast’s platform, co-operated by the experienced Shanghai Online Game Center. The Contest is the first one that adopts remote connection mode to game, the players could attend the contest at home by logging on to Holdfast’s platform. To ensure a fair play, the Final will be organized in Shanghai with the traditional LAN connection.

The Contest has several milestones on War Craft Contest: it is the first to be carried over a Internet game platform; it is the first to group players by public drawing; and it is the first to employ team battles. However, professional players also questioned the fairness about these new approaches. Holdfast’s platform eliminates the possibility of cheating (e.g. maphack) by a counter-cheating system newly developed. The platform will be continuously improved to be the best place for the players that offers ultimate entertainment and absolute fairness.
